An extremist group proposed an initiative for the November 2010 ballot that would have created a presumption justifying the use of deadly force against a trespasser, even if the trespasser had not threatened violence. In his comments to the Secretary of State regarding the proposed ballot title for the initiative, Steven Berman quoted a song by the Dead Kennedys, hence the name of the article.
