Stoll Berne attorney Josh Ross was a panelist member and discussed his pro bono experience working with the Domestic Violence Project as part of the U.S. District Court District of Oregon’s First Annual Pro Bono Work to Empower and Represent (POWER) Act Event. The event was held on September 4, 2019 from Noon-1:30 p.m. at the Mark O. Hatfield US Courthouse.
The event’s goal, in partnership with Legal Aid Services of Oregon, was to educate lawyers on the free legal services available to empower survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. It promoted the legal services critical to empowering survivors of domestic violence and other crimes.
