Willamette Week, “Providence Can’t Exclude Autism Treatments From Coverage, Judge Rules”

On August 8, 2014, Willamette Weekreported on a ruling issued by U.S. District Court Judge Michael Simon in a lawsuit challenging Providence Health Plan’s practice of denying coverage for a therapy called Applied Behavior Analysis to autistic children.

The Court’s ruling found that Providence’s practice violated both federal and state laws.  Stoll Berne lawyers Keith Dubanevich, Joshua Ross, and Nadine Gartner represent the plaintiffs and the class.  Read more about the story as reported in Willamette Week.
