Due to its format, electronically stored information (“ESI”) is especially vulnerable to deletion, modification or corruption and parties and counsel must take extra precautions to preserve this type of evidence.  Keith Ketterling and Angelene Falconer wrote an article on this issue for the Oregon Law Institute.
