The firm successfully defended Columbia Sportswear against trade secrets claims relating to heated jackets. After Stoll Berne located prior art proving that the plaintiff was not the inventor of the claimed invention, the plaintiff dropped its case. Keith Ketterling and Tim DeJong represented Columbia on the matter.
