Oregon Sues BP Over Spill-Related Losses

Oregon Treasurer Ted Wheeler and Attorney General John Kroger have announced that Oregon is seeking to recover almost $19 million from British Petroleum on behalf of the Oregon Public Employees Retirement Fund and other Oregon trust funds in the wake of the 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil rig disaster.

The lawsuit was filed in Multnomah County by Attorney General Kroger, with the assistance of Stoll Berne and the Washington DC law firm of Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll.  To read about this case as reported by The Oregonianclick here.
