Anuj is an associate in the firm’s litigation group, where his practice focuses on complex business and securities litigation, data privacy, and class actions.
Prior to joining Stoll Berne, Anuj served as a judicial law clerk to Justice Stephen K. Bushong of the Oregon Supreme Court. There, he provided recommendations to the court and assisted with its evaluation of complex and novel state law issues.
During law school, he worked with the Federal Defender for the District of Oregon and the Metropolitan Public Defender, gaining trial court experience on constitutional and evidentiary issues. Additionally, Anuj worked with Just Futures Law, an immigrants’ rights organization, on informing the public about technology-driven policing, as well as the UC Davis Immigration Law Clinic, where he sought pardons for clients who were vulnerable to deportation.
Before law school, Anuj worked at Nike as a privacy compliance manager. In that role, he assisted data scientists, software engineers, and business teams with the application of data privacy and security regulations to consumer experiences.
Anuj holds a J.D. from UC Davis School of Law, an M.S. in Privacy Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, and a B.A. in Chemistry from Williams College.
