IBM has been accused of discussions surrounding the idea of reducing the number of their older employees, using the term “dinobabies” to describe them. Documents describing these discussions were made public as part of a proposed class action lawsuit against IBM for age discrimination in the workplace. The lawsuit claims that IBM was purposely reducing their older workforce with more Millennial employees.
IBM denies the allegations. No class certification has yet to be obtained.
