Settlement Reached in Airbnb Discrimination Case

Plaintiffs and Airbnb have reached a settlement in a lawsuit, filed in March 2017, alleging that Airbnb’s policies allowed its hosts to discriminate against African Americans and deny them access to accommodations by using guests’ photographs and full names to review reservation requests in violation of Oregon’s Public Accommodation laws.

Nadia Dahab Ranks in 100 Ducks Who Made a Difference

Stoll Berne attorney Nadia Dahab was honored to be listed in the recent University of Oregon’s Oregon Quarterly “100 Ducks Who Made a Difference” list. Oregon Quarterly, the University of Oregon’s alumni and former students publication, is celebrating their 100th anniversary in 2019. In honor of the occasion, Oregon Quarterly sought nominations for alumni, students, faculty, staff, administrators, and friends of the university from 1919-present who have worked to make the world a better place.
