Elizabeth is an associate in the firm’s litigation group where she focuses on complex litigation matters. She is an integral part of the trial team pursuing claims on behalf of the State of Oregon, the State of Maryland, and the City of Seattle against Monsanto Company for PCB contamination. Elizabeth has experience conferring with large corporate entities over document discovery, depositions, and a variety of other pre-trial matters. She is also skilled at preparing witnesses for and representing them at depositions, and in helping them prepare their testimony for trial. In addition, Elizabeth has prepared and argued successful motions and response briefs to effectively serve her clients’ interests.
Prior to joining Stoll Berne, Elizabeth served as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge David W. Christel (U.S. District Court, Western District of Washington) as well as a judicial extern to the Honorable Jolie A. Russo (U.S. District Court of Oregon). She also served as a law clerk for a law firm in Springfield, OR, focusing on business and local government matters, and as a law clerk with the Northwest Justice Project.
